Iquitos and the Jungle
A family or two traveling upstream. The locals were super skilled with the boats and the canoes. They made it look super easy. The children were taught to be independent on the water by the age of five. A bare necessity for survival. We tried canoeing upstream once and it took us about an hour to negotiate our way up roughly 500m.
