Trekking to Machupichu

We had been walking for hours along a super skinny ridge that went along a ridiculously steep mountain with Coca and coffee plantations all around us. The trail took us to a house inhabited by an old couple. I couldn’t believe that these two frial-looking individuals actually lived up here and I have no idea how they harvest their super steep crops. The house’s porch was geared towards foreigners. There were hammocks around and freshly-baked empanadas. They had a monkey tied to a short string (apparently only when visitors are around) and this Capybara (the largest rodent in the world) sitting on a tall tree stump.
This little guy had learned how to drink milk from a baby bottle on his hind legs.
